Buyers Returning to U.S. Real Estate

International buyers have returned to the U.S. real estate market as the dollar weakens against major currencies. Between April 2024 and March 2025, foreign buyers purchased $56 billion worth of homes in the U.S., a 33.2% increase from the previous year.
The pound, euro, Canadian dollar, Indian
rupee and Japanese yen have all gained against the dollar, giving foreign
buyers more purchasing power. The top markets for international buyers are
Arizona, California, Florida, New York and Texas.
